One longitudinal analysis found each additional year of arts study was associated with a 20% reduction in the likelihood of out-of-school suspension and better college outlook.
Arts programs reduce delinquency & improve social outcomes. Systematic reviews and government literature summarize that arts-based programs make positive impacts on social and emotional behaviors and can reduce rates of offending among participants.
